Advanced Ping Stats?

Hey Guys,

 

I got my R2, looking to work out how to look at Server Tick Rate/etc, as seeing in the Advanced Ping Stats mentioned here:

In the Geo-Filter option menu enable Auto Ping. When you're in a game the auto ping panel will appear and provide you with those details.

I take it only detects certain games? What about BF4?

It will appear for any server you are connected to on the Geo-Filter Map so even if you can't filter for BF4 for example you can still see the ping stats.

It doesn't seem to be working for BF4..

 

I' assuming because its not actually able to detect that BF4 is being played, since it doesn't popup in the "DumaOS classified games" in QoS - I need to manually create a rule for it to realise there is prioritised traffic..

In the Device Manager give your device a PlayStation device type, then re-add it to the Geo-Filter and choose the manual option. You should see icons appear on the Geo-Filter then.

ok that seemed to work... sort of.. its saying the Host Type is "peer"...

 

So I take it there is some extra logic that applies when a device type is PlayStation? 

 

Should I make a new thread for the QoS Prioritised Issue not detecting BF4?

Sometimes servers can be misclassified as peers. It encompasses more ports yes so makes it easier to filter. No need we are aware that it needs to be updated.
