BlackstormTX
No matter what i do , my NAT type is not open . i portforwarded the right ports and still not open . Can we get the option to change the NAT filtering settings with the R2?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 15, 2020 Administrators Share Posted August 15, 2020 Is this for PC or console? What is your exact physical setup? Have you tried using the R2 DMZ? What game are you playing? Where are you checking the NAT type?
BlackstormTX
SET UP, MODEM >R2>XBOXONEX . I CHECK MY NAT TPYE IN GAME ( MODERN WARFARE) . ITS OPEN ON ALL OTHER CODS , AND ON MY XR500 . BUT NOT WITH THE R2.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 15, 2020 Administrators Share Posted August 15, 2020 Does it appear open in the console settings? If so disable the Geo-Filter, does it appear open that way? If so then it's a false reading and you can ignore it. If not then try the DMZ, does that open it? BlackstormTX
the way my ip is setup , i need ipv6 to get a stronger connection . ipv4 is is ok but both together give me a better connection. my IP is suddenlink which they use 6 to 4 tunnel and without auto config i cant get ipv6. if there is no way of doing it on the r2 , then i will work with what i have. Thank you Sir!

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 20, 2020 Administrators Share Posted August 20, 2020 Could be a few reasons for this, you may just be failing to ping them for some reason or they've been taken offline briefly. Check it at different times and they may appear again.
