andymandias Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Received and set up my Netduma R2 a few days ago. My only issue right now has been relatively frequent crashes (the router stops responding in the web UI and internet traffic halts). My XR 500 might do so once every four months, while I've had four in the last few days with my Netduma R2. It has always happened when I left the web connection to the router open, which is why I currently suspect that's part of the cause for the crash; I wasn't doing anything with it, just left the browser tab open as I went about other tasks. The other possible thought is that the room has been warm (76-80F) for most (potentially all) of the crashes. I've finished configuration so I don't need to log in to the web UI often anymore, but it would be nice to be able to do so without fear of crashing the router.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 15, 2020 Administrators Posted August 15, 2020 In the scenario you've described how long has the UI been open for without being used? For overheating we're looking into that and we may be able to include something that shows the temperature.
