R-app not loaded yet...still an issue.

Recommended Posts

I've followed the forum posts about downgrading firmware and such, and none of them seem to yield a permanent fix to this problem. It does "fix itself" when I reboot the router, but the problem eventually comes back.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong that's causing this? We do have a relatively large amount of devices (I think >30) on our network sometimes...is that the issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

Jimmy

Have you tried increasing the amount of retries for rapps? You can do this on the System Information page.

On that same page, could you let me know what your RAM/CPU usage is looking like? Perhaps a certain rapp is eating up resources.

Well, if the downgrade-upgrade option isn't working, you could try this:

https://kb.netgear.com/000059633/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-client

So...the downgrade works...but I thought I was supposed to then allow the router to upgrade again(which it did). Should I just stay with the downgraded firmware and shut off auto updates?
