Are you saying your ISP is wireless as in its provided by a mast? If so you must have some kind of aerial and modem, are you plugged into that? The R1 has no modem. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 29, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 29, 2020 Hey, welcome to the forum! So just to clarify the R1 is directly plugged into the modem? Modem LAN port to R1 PoE/port 1? Did they give you the static IP information or just set switch to static IP? If you're replacing an existing router I would assume you had this static information set up there, so I would suggest connecting to that router, copying the static information and then connecting the R1 back and entering that information into Settings > WAN > Network. Ty28
Yes. They gave me all of the info. I unplugged my old router. Pulled the power off of the modem and po logged it back in. Then I powered up the R1 and plugged it into the modem. Plugged my laptop into the 2nd port 9n the R1 then pulled up the Netduma ingo. Went to manual, which I guess is Static IP which our provider told us to do. Entered the password which is the serial number first 12. Entered IP, Subnet, Gateway, DNS 1 and 2. And error message. Checked with our provider and they said it was something on the router side not recognizing the address. Triple checked everything still error messages. Still not working no internet
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 29, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 29, 2020 Are you entering that information into the WiFi settings on your device? Where are you putting this password in? Are you using PPPoE?

Ty28
Yes we are entering the info into the WiFi settings. When you click on the wifi symbol it asks for the password. We enter the Serial number password there.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 30, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 30, 2020 That's fine if you haven't yet changed the WiFi password but where are you putting those static settings, are you doing it on the device you're connecting to WiFi with or are you doing this in WAN Settings on the R1?
