Boomer2D
Hi guys! With the delay of the DumaOS on the R1 I bought an Asus Router (RT-AC3100) and started using that instead of the netduma. I've had my R1 in a box for a long time. Recently I found out that the R1 is now supporting DumaOS and was wanting to try it. I do not know how to install the new software and was wondering if you guys could help me out. I moved my router to the basement and was wondering if I should use my netduma as my main router and put the asus router as an extender. Or would it be better if I use my asus router as my main one and use the netduma as my extender? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 9, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 9, 2020 Hey, welcome to the forum! As above fill out the form from that link and then we'll send you an email with the download file. Regarding which router you want to use as the main one that is up to you, of course I would suggest using the R1 first so you can control everything with QoS and then anything connected to the Asus in extender mode can utilise AC WiFi while still getting controlled by the R1.
