hewfoe
Hello everyone, I recently purchased an XR700 and have it all setup. Prior to the XR700, I was getting my full internet speeds while wired (900/50). Now that I have the XR700, I am only gettin 400/40 while wired. I have the speeds in the QoS set to 1000/100 (tried 1000/1000 as well). I disabled QoS. I disabled port aggregation. I am using cat6 wires, etc (nothing changed except the router). What is weird is that I am getting the same exact speeds from wireless as I am wired. And yes, I checked, my pc is not connected to wireless. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 4, 2020 Administrators Share Posted February 4, 2020 Sometimes when a new router is used with your existing modem/router/ISP it can take a few days for them to sync properly together. During this time you may experience slower speeds than you do usually. You could either wait a few days to see if this is the issue and see whether it resolves itself. Otherwise you could set the XR700 MAC address to the same MAC address as the previous router you were using, apply it then reboot. If that was the cause then you should see your high speeds return.
