On my XR700 I cannot send logs via email

I would definitely suggest you contact Netgear directly about this as that is one of their original features and so not something we've done ourselves or have experience with: http://support.netgear.com/

Sorry to direct you elsewhere but this is something entirely to do with Netgear. If you make a ticket and don't receive any good responses you can let us know the ticket number and we can get it escalated.
