Recommended Posts

Oke ,

i will try that , and its true i have fluctuation in my internet speed .

But i do often a speed test and its always around this numbers 26 ping download 57 mbps and upload 4.58 mbps

When i look around , people say that is a good connection .

But maybe is it not stable ??

Peak time is usualy when you will see a drop in speed and an increase in ping on a congested line.

I would run ping plotter  around 6pm onwards and leave it running and see what you get.

You can use the pro version for 30 days , then it will drop to the free version.

At the bottom is the ping graph it scrolls along over time and at the top is the tracert of the ping ( the different destinations on the way to the final ip )

Did you input 8.8.8.8 then press trace ?

I change the update frequency to 1ms so i can see it in real time.

Target name : google dns

Ip :  8.8.8.8

Focus time :  5 min

Trace interval :  1 sec

You can change the focus time for a longer plot

It will change how much data is shown on screen.

ok , 1h is that cool ??

You could try that for now but i would test it at peak time tonight , so when school's are out and workers are home etc and test for a good few hours.

You are having pings spikes up to 62ms from your base ping of 32ms.

Were you using the internet at all ?

Its also showing errors on the current pings for some reason which i doubt is an isp problem in itself, what does the duma diagnostics say in the packet loss section? Could you re-test now with the duma, thank you.

Only my pc , but not one special program using much bandwidth .

Of course everything is connect to the INTERNET , tv , tablet , 2 laptops , 3 consoles but the all off .

And when the connect ,except the consoles , the all connect to my TP link .

Ahhh , that i have often to , something went wrong ( by trying make a Internet diagnose ) .

I restart everything and try to make test on the Netduma .

The duma pings 20 times to 8.8.8.8 google and in the 20 times you had 1 ping rise to 63 but this keeps happening while you are playing you will feel it , its 30ms of lag every now and again.

I do not know how your isp will respond, hopefully they will listen.

Show them the proof.

normally i have

good      exceptional       exceptional        no loss

I don't know or understand why its constantly change :s

Thats because if it tests 20 times and if you do not have a 64 ms ping jump in that 20 x test then it will be exceptional.

But because the line is having ping spikes now and again the time you do test and it falls in the 20 x test then it will show other wise.

Ping plotter has proved it happens quite a lot in a 5 min plot

I will call them tomorrow , i will try to explain them the connection have up and downs .

And if i understand you , 1 ping of the 20 goes to 63 what destroys the stability of my connection ?

Am I right and understand you well ?

You are going from 32ms to 63ms, tell them it is causing you trouble while gaming, I would not mention the netduma as they will more than likely blame it.
