WinnersGT Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I am loving the NetDuma as it greatly improves the connection in the majority of lobbies. My issue is why 90% of my games are hosted in Seattle on the dedicated server which is 3000 miles away from me as I live in Georgia on the East coast. Are there no dedicated servers on the East coast and is there something I can do to prevent this. When playing on that dedi being that far away most games feel like I am behind. Xfinity is my ISP and I have 120 down and 10 up..
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 13, 2015 Administrators Posted July 13, 2015 Hey welcome to the forum! It's likely its an incorrectly located server, what are you pinging to it? You may be connecting to it through ping assist, or strict mode off, in which case try changing these/moving your location to avoid it
WinnersGT Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 I will check and post ping to it tonight as I am about to leave for work. Will also try the strict mode on and 0 ping assist. Thanks for the welcome.
WinnersGT Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 I enabled strict mode and set ping assist to 0 and it takes care of the issue. Had some great games yesterday and it is worth the wait it takes to find a game with my geo filter set to 900 miles and encompassing central US and most of the east coast.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 14, 2015 Administrators Posted July 14, 2015 Fantastic, as this has been resolved I'll close the thread, anymore issues feel free to make a new thread. You should make a post in introductions so we can welcome you properly
