Zark
Hello, i just received my R1 and one thing really bothered me when i checked the Network Monitoring, i have no idea what all of these are http://gyazo.com/f294ddee508c02c2bcc10ecc52db5611and they're using my connection, any way to determine what they mean/are ? Sometimes there are a lot more, sometimes less. Thanks for the help (Sorry to put a link for the screenshot but i couldnt upload the picture with this post for some reason)
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 9, 2015 Administrators Share Posted July 9, 2015 Hey Zark, welcome to the forum! Those are the port numbers that are being used on that device. By the looks of it, it may be a PC game
Zark
Hey ! Thank you for responding so fast, though im literally not doing anything other than checking the network monitor on my PC, how do i check the ports ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 9, 2015 Administrators Share Posted July 9, 2015 You're welcome! If its something we recognise, say Xbox Live or CS:GO on PC for example it will say the name instead of the port. I wouldn't worry its probably just idle information getting sent back and forth. The only thing I'd worry about is if the total usage slider for your PC is massive when you're not doing anything.
Zark
I'll have to wait and see if there are any problems with that and if its linked to my ping randomly going up sometimes. Thank you
