MyGuy Posted February 26, 2019 Share Posted February 26, 2019 When devices are connected to my XR500 through wifi the connection drops randomly very often, for example when scrolling through twitter or facebook I can watch around 4 videos fine then the next ill need to wait around 10 seconds for the video to load. Also when watching movies on my laptop they buffer often throughout. However when I am connected through Ethernet I have no issues. I have re positioned the router many times and it does not help, nothing is interfering with the signal. Even when using my phone right next to the router I still have these issues. Does the internet completely cut off for all WiFi devices for that 10 seconds or does it just appear to happen on whatever device you happen to be using at the time? Are you using Smart Connect? If so I'd suggest trying to connect manually. If not are you using 2.4GHz or 5GHz and have you tried the other to see if it happens on both?
