Gaming device to active switch QoS settings

Recommended Posts

Xbox one s > active netgear switch > netgear X500.
All connections are CAT7. I'm having problems setting priority for game and devices.

Should the netgear switch get higher priority or the device for game profiles?

Any tips? Something is just off and I'm looking for feedback.

Hi, welcome to the forum :) So with the Xbox connected through a switch, it should effectively act the same with DumaOS as it would without the switch since it's just a passthrough...

Ultimately, the Xbox should be what you're prioritising. If you're trying to prioritise the switch in any way, that'll be ineffective as opposed to prioritising the Xbox itself. What specific issues are you having with prioritising your Xbox?
