umpmanjoe
Is there a way to put the netduma in bridge mode? My main router is an apple airport time capsule. I then have a 6 port switch in my room with an iMac, ps4, xbox 1, apple tv and the main tivo box for the house. I wanted to replace the switch with the netduma, however it seems I can't because it then puts everything on its own network. I need my apple tv and tivo box on the main family network since all my slave tivo boxes must connect through the network to the main box via ethernet cable. So can i put the netduma into bridge mode, or do I have to have a time capsule to bedroom, switch with cables to apple tv, iMac, tivo box and netduma. then have cables from netduma to ps4 and xb1. Any help would be appreciated. I Don't know a whole lot about networking. I am moving to a new house and was wondering if in the new house I could have my modem, the a switch, ethernet to netduma on one port then ethernet to time capsule on the other. I would then run 2 ethernet to my ps4 and XB1 and 2 to my son ps4 and XB1. Im not sure if that works, can you have a switch before routers so that you can have 2 networks
