phatpete Posted October 13, 2018 Share Posted October 13, 2018 Hey im a newbie I am looking to buy a nighthawk rx500 but I have read reports I may need to buy an netgear 7000 nighthawk to run the rx500 as my isp is virgin media. (Superhub3) Some are saying I do some are saying I don't. Or is it just simple for me to buy a netduma r1? And can you run the set up without having a ethernet port on a laptop? Many thanks. You can put the superhub 3 into modem only mode of its nearest equivalent and use the XR500, no need to buy a R7000 which is much older hardware.
