I recently moved and I misplaced my power cable for my R1, can I just buy any thing that matches the specs or do I need a very specific one? Infoseye Posted September 1, 2018 Share Posted September 1, 2018 There was power spike at home, which fried my R1 power cable luckly did not damage the R1 itself. I had an old bt hub router around, I checked the voltage specs which matched R1 output. Worked perfectly fine, I'm hoping there would be an option for accessories in future to buy. But for now this will do, if you do have an internet box laying around have a look at the power cable this is not the best option but hey it's what is available for me hope this helps.
