belladin34 Posted June 15, 2018 Share Posted June 15, 2018 setup xr500. starting ip at 20 ending at 254. next router setup disable dhcp router ip at 2. wireles difrent ssd same security and password difrent chanel i have xr500 at channel 6 and the wrt3200acm at channel 11 disable firewall if you using openwrt delet the wan interface leaving only the lan and reboot connect to the xr500 lan cable and wala 2 difrent 2ghz band with out interfirience. you can use the 5ghz if you want but i never use the 5ghz band Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you put the Linksys into 'Access Point' mode (sometimes called 'AP mode'), it will then act like a wireless extender. You will need to consult the user manual for the Linksys on how to do this.
