jfolmer Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 I have been using my Netduma R1 since January of 2015 without problems. Recently I noticed the wifi would drop out so I rebooted the router and it was fine. Last night it did it again and now it doesn't work a all. I connected the modem directly to the computer and the internet service is fine. Tried my old router and it worked. I am not very network savvy and not sure what to check next. Running 1.03.6g on windows 7. Windows says that it is having modem connectivity issues and to reboot the modem but that does not help. I have rebooted computer, modem and router numerous times and still get the same results. I can get to the router GUI. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Jeff
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted June 5, 2018 Netduma Staff Posted June 5, 2018 Hi Jeff - try out this guide first: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022405-why-does-the-netduma-wifi-keep-dropping-out- If none of those solutions work I'd recommend factory resetting the Netduma via the GUI in Settings > Miscellaneous. If that doesn't work try a hard reset (turn off the Netduma and Modem. Wait 5 minutes, then turn on the Modem. Wait another minute before turning on the Netduma). Let me know if any of that helps!
jfolmer Posted June 6, 2018 Author Posted June 6, 2018 Factory reset fixed the problem. Thanks for the help.
