VPN Server Issues XR500

Anyone else using the VPN server with no issues?  Maybe I am missing something.  These are my results.   Everytime I turn on the VPN server feature my DNS stops resolving websites.  It doesn't seem to change the results if I swap from "auto" , "All sites on the Internet & Home Network" or "Home Network only."  I do have my DDNS service setup and working as I am accessing my cameras with my DNS hostname.  I have firmware V2.1.0.6 .   Thanks.

Hello, welcome to the forum! I think it would be best if you login here: http://support.netgear.com/ there should then be a number you can call for 24/7 English support.

 

The reason I advise this is because we had nothing to do with the Settings part of DumaOS so Netgear would be best suited to answering your question in a quick and effective manner. We are of course always happy to help but in this case I think they would be able to resolve your issue better

Thanks, I will reach out to support.  Could you confirm that the VPN server feature of the XR500 has been tested with firmware v2.1.0.6?  If not could someone see if they get the same results?

 

It would have been tested yet, most likely the person on the phone will try to reproduce it and then send a bug report up the line to get it looked at if its confirmed to be a bug.
