sana0316
Hello, I have Cincinnati Bell 1 gig fiber internet service. Would like to know the suggested setting to use on my duma... I understand to my knowledge that my congestion control setting are disabled, so am I at a disadvantage using this router with my internet speeds? mountainping
Go to miscellaneous settings, Enable turbo mode, as well as the second turbo mode option. This should get you as close to your 1gb speeds as possible.and yes I would leave the congestion control at 100% . As there is more than enough bandwidth to go around for all of your devices. Hope that helped answer your question
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 15, 2017 Administrators Share Posted August 15, 2017 As you have plenty of speeds local congestion won't be an issue for you. Use these settings: Reactive Algorithm 100% anti-flood Share excess enabled Reset device prioritisation & apply Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc Disable deep packet in misc Enable turbo mode Enable super turbo mode Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds. Do a wired speed test from a PC
