Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted June 13, 2017 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 13, 2017 I am having issues saving a profile. I keep getting the error message: Unable to save settings because: 'Failed: Unable to import profile for unknown reason'. This is quite a rare issue, and is caused by your Geo-filter devices using ports rather than the standard services. Please change your Geo-filter devices to use the provided services and let us know if you can save your profile.

I think you are asking me to remove my hyper threading in the hostfilter page for my PS4.
Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted June 14, 2017 Netduma Staff Share Posted June 14, 2017 I am sorry but i not sure what you are exactly asking me to change. I think you are asking me to remove my hyper threading in the hostfilter page for my PS4. I did some more digging; this solution should work: "Say for example the profile you have includes settings for: Load Device Prioritisation. Load Hyper-Lane. Load Host Filtering Services. They are specific to the router that the profile that it was saved on as they have devices connected to their router that you do not. So if you are trying to load this profile with those settings ticked it won't work because you don't have those devices. So if you un tick these options and then load the profile it should work." If that doesn't work, my previous suggestion was based on an old fix for this error. All you should need to do is click "select service" on your host filtering devices and select one of the ones on the list, such as Xbox Live. Let us know how you get on - the first solution will likely work.
