Dellgenius
Would I need to manually identify the ports or is there another way? If so, how can I go about doing this. Thank you for the help.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 3, 2017 Administrators Share Posted May 3, 2017 I've only played it one time but I think you're able to at least choose the region the game puts you on, in which case there is not much need to enable the Geo-filter. You should however still utilise congestion control for the best possible connection.

You are correct, you can choose servers, but I live in Asia, and I am not sure if there is one near my country, as I have been trying to find out the location of the server, to no avail. Is is possible for me to use the geofilter to further limit the range? I would also like to identify the location of the server using the geofilter. If this is at all possible, please let me know. Thank you.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 4, 2017 Administrators Share Posted May 4, 2017 From what I could find out online (can't confirm it) but people are saying there are Asian servers. The company who made the game is also based in Korea so it makes sense they would have at least 1 server in that region. I don't know if it will work or not but this is what I would try: Have your device selected on the Geo-filter using the Xbox Live service. Place your location and radius covering a large portion of Asia, select the Asian region on the game and see what appears on the map. You should at least see the location of the game you get. Keep in mind you may get booted, we haven't specifically tested the game for the Geo-filter.
Typhoon79
Hey Guys I've located this server ping site to the PUBG servers , when pressing List , you get a country/IP list of server locations, so you can narrow down the GeoFilter that way. Hope this helps , and maybe the Team can add them in the GeoFilter dropdown menu http://pubg.disquse.ru/ Have a nice evening !
