nelsonr
Hey there. Trying to get the most out of this router for Street FIghter 5. The game has very poor lag controls, so I needed to get this router to try and help. I followed the instructions from this forum to put the computer in hyper mode. I set host filtering to minimum on distance (111km) and 0 on ping assist. I still seem to be getting games, and with a person who has a bad connection. Using a surfboard docsis 3.0 modem. nelsonr
Should mention i have 4ms ping, 300mbps down, 30 up through comcast. Live on the West coast of the United States, in Oregon.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 27, 2017 Administrators Share Posted April 27, 2017 That's an incredible small distance. I would recommend ~1000km radius, strict on & ping assist 0 to start with. What's the average ping to a player you're getting as shown by the duma? nelsonr
I didn't have it set to that distance at first, but i was still getting choppy games, so I kept reducing it, to test if it was being effective. I'm still running into games with it set like that, and maybe 66% not smooth games. Strict mode's enabled. I'm not able to see the average ping to players I've played. This shows up in host analysis for my friends who use PS4, but as I'm on PC, it seems to be not working. Would love to be able to use this feature. Please include a screenshot of the entire Geo-filter page. Have "auto ping" ticked or click on the circle that shows the host and you can ping it. Host analysis is for PC but SF isn't supported for it currently. The Geo-filter ping will work which is what your PS4 friends likely meant. nelsonr
No circles ever show up. I'd love to be able to use that feature. It shows up for my friends who use PS4. Just to note, using PS4 is not an option for me.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 29, 2017 Administrators Share Posted April 29, 2017 You need to add your PC at the top of the screen - use the Xbox Live service. Then it should work just fine
nelsonr
Why would it need the xbox live service? I'm not sure I see why I would need to pick that. I added my gamePC using xbox live service and hosts are still not showing up. Just to be clear, I am not using an xbox. Looks like the circles are showing up now. Showing two hosts so far, one in the middle of the country and one on the east coast. The geo filter should have cut them out.

The Xbox Live services covers a lot of ports which games use which is why I said to use that. Did you add the service after you were already on the game? If so then it would have already been allowed as the filter wasn't enabled. Close the game completely, wait for the map to clear. Set ~1000km/650 mile radius, strict on, ping assist 0. nelsonr
I'm seeing triangles with ! on them before doing anything on the map. http://forum.netduma.com/topic/20339-street-fighter-v-not-working-with-netduma/?hl=street+fighter Did this get resolved where the relay servers are blocked so I can correctly prevent connections with laggy people? When are the white dots supposed to show up? This interface leaves a bit to be desired. When is the new version coming? I seem to be getting worse matches than before I used this feature. Disabled filtering and lag improved on my games. Was getting lag in a player vs player match (not matchmaking) and disabling filtering fixed it. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 2, 2017 Administrators Share Posted May 2, 2017 I believe so, I will check. You won't see white servers at all. As soon as it's ready. Please provide the screenshots asked for here and I can advise further: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000022425-lag-support-instructions-to-post-on-the-forum-
