I absolutely agree. SBMM is not needed for casual lobbies.

I believe that they were trying to minimize pub stomping, which would allow less skilled players to have more fun (in theory).  It does not work though.  SPMM caters to less skilled players and has a negative effect on average to above average players which are the main COD base.

 

Activision & Sledgehammer are companies that are out to make money, which I fully respect and understand.  Personally, I would rather deal with pay-to-win variants and supply drops than SBMM -- as long as the variants are NOT too different (i.e. not like ASM1 Speakeasy).

If they focused on the things that actually matter to gamers like matchmaking and connectivity they would be a lot better off, we'll see what they've learned in the last 3 years.

 

And can do without supply drops "pay to win" system, give everyone the same guns and see who's better

It'll be an interesting november thats for sure, i think their backs are against the walk for the first time since i started playing this franchise i'm still expecting something dumb to be done by them we shall see
