No internet at all through Netduma router

Recommended Posts

I do not have internet access through my Netduma Router. I'm from Australia and I'm on their Fibre NBN Network. The way it's set up is the NBN NTD > Netduma Router > PC all with wired connections. I've tested my Ethernet cables by plugging them directly from the NTD into the computer. This provides internet access. The issue arises when the Netduma R1 is thrown into the mix. I'm following the Quick Start guide that came with the router to the T. Windows troubleshooting says there's an issue with my Modem and to power cycle it. It identifies a network and I can connect to the Netduma settings page through Chrome but doesn't provide internet access. I've tried power cycling the NTD and router. I've tried a factory reset. I'm not sure what else I can do.

This has happened several times over the past few weeks and I'm finally sick of it. I continually have to revert to using my D-Link 5 Port Switch to be able to connect to the internet. After a few days or a week of not using the Netduma I swap back to it and it'll work for a few days (sometimes)

Please someone tell me what I'm doing wrong wrong or that my Netduma router is broken and I'm eligible for a replacement. If you provide any troubleshooting advice please stupify it as best you can. I'm not afraid to jump around the computer settings but I'm no master either.

I also get an error when loading the Miscellaneous settings page that it couldn't all load or something and to post on the forums about that. Not really sure if it means anything though.

Firmware:

R1 debug version 1.03.6g running on rb-951g-2hnd .

I plugged my Netduma back in today to give the reboot a shot, but it appears to be working currently. I left it sitting unplugged for 3 days. Next time my internet drops out I'll use the Misc Reboot and post back here if that doesn't work.
