glaglaman Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Hello, I had some thinking while waiting for my netduma r1. If I'm using only port 1 to connect through a D-link power line adapter, are all of my devices gonna be detected on the netduma software or only just one of them is gonna be detected? (example : the port one is the one that gonna "share" the internet (on my network) with all of the other (2 xbox ones, 1 ps4 and one powerline adapter for the wifi) Thanks.
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted May 7, 2015 Netduma Staff Posted May 7, 2015 They should appear as different devices as the power line adapter will be on the physical layer. I use Wifi power line adapters and all the devices connected to them show up as separate.
glaglaman Posted May 7, 2015 Author Posted May 7, 2015 Ok so I can identified them as "ps4", "xbox one 1", "xbox one 2", and enabled the geo-filter for each of them ?

Yep, should be able to! I see no reason why that wouldn't work. I've not heard of any power line adapters that 'merge' the connection into one
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted May 7, 2015 Netduma Staff Posted May 7, 2015 ok thank you very much for the answers. No problem!
