Russell
G'day guys, When I click on the other router interface it asks me for a password to access my netgear router which I input. The login details are correct but it just goes to a blank page. For me to access my router I have to disconnect the netduma and run my internet cable directly into the Netgear router where I have no problems accessing it. It's been this way from when I purchased the duma. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong and why it won't work?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 21, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 21, 2016 It sounds like the LAN address to access the Netgear is exactly the same as the R1 LAN address. Have you changed the R1 LAN address or Netgear LAN address? How would you access them normally?
Russell
Haven't changed the lan address as far as I know. The only thing I have done was entered the address from the router interface to the dmz of the netgear. For me to access my netgear I need to disconnect the r1 , reset the neatgear and then I can access the netgear through the ip login. Its pretty much been this way from when I bought the r1. If both addresses are the same what will I need to do?
Russell
I think both addresses are the same. What can I do if this is so?
Russell
This is the r1 Lan and my neatgear is 192.168.0.

If both addresses are the same what will I need to do? Did you enter the WAN IP from the R1 device manager or the R1 LAN address? It should be the WAN IP not the LAN. If you entered the LAN address that could be where the issue lies. Okay so they're definitely different. If you hover over the "View other interface button on the device manager" and look in the bottom left what is the IP it says?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 23, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 23, 2016 Strange okay, there must be something in the netgear settings blocking it some how. If you post in the 1 on 1 section I can take a look. Just let me know what dates/times you'd be available.
Russell
Fraser, you truly are a champion. It works great now, I'm not getting the dialogue box coming up now in device manager so, I think your research has fixed it. This is why I love the Netduma business, you guys care about your customers. Thanks again mate from the other side of the world.
