JasonDVamos
I was wondering if you can add a DMZ feature for the next update since I'm pretty sure that would resolve the majority of the NAT type issues with UPnP. Cod isn't the only game that is being affected by this. For example, some EA titles such as Need For Speed and Battlefield are both affected by the UPnP not opening the ports that are necessary for the online servers. Also, I'm not sure if the current version of the firmware has this, but an option to completely disable the router's firewall would be amazing. I saw a video on Youtube explaining how a firewall can cause ping spikes and stutter in Black Ops 3 and it has nothing to do with the Playstation or the BO3 update itself. And I'm pretty sure this feature would be useful for most online gaming. Here's the link: And finally, I made a post a few months ago asking if precise bandwidth throttling (in Kbps) can be a feature for the next upgrade and I hope you considered it since this feature is extremely useful for both newer and older titles of cod. Yes, this is my actual setting for Bo3 and it works great. My setting in IW is still the same but different. Instead of 1 it's 70.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 8, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 8, 2016 DMZ and your precise bandwidth have definitely been requested before and are in the list of requested features. Disabling Firewall I have added to the list

unixadmin
You are going to have a firewall just to get NAT and port forwards. Connection tracking and deep packet inspection are some of the firewall features they mean when random blogs blame firewalls.
