dumbnet Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 I found a new device on my network yesterday, device name wasn't something I would use "Dr!Elite" and it had a fake "private" mac address. Looks like someone hacked in. I've changed the SSID & password, but I also noticed Wifi was only using wpa-psk and not wpa-psk2 Can I suggest that in the next update wpa-psk2 is the default? I should of spotted this when I first set it up, but I was more interested in Netduma's other features that I neglected to check the security settings on wifi.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 3, 2016 Administrators Posted October 3, 2016 That is a simple enough thing to implement yes. Make sure you block them in device manager and put a user/pass on the interface as well.
