Need some help guys

Guys I am using a netgear as my modem and I connected to netduma and did dmz after that when I want to connect I can not says no dns servers found what do I do I had a huwaeii 4g router as modem didn't had this probelm any help is much appreciated guys

Do you have an ISP router/modem at all? 

 

Where are you seeing this DNS error? You can input manual DNS into the R1 but it is set to auto so that shouldn't be an issue.

 

Turn of the R1, then the Netgear. Turn on the Netgear and turn on the R1 a minute later. Do you now have a connection?

Still have probelms I guess the issue is from my Isp then

 

I see it the dns error when I browse YouTube or search on Google

 

The router acting as modem is nighthawk and it says it's a router modem so the netgear shouldn't be the probelm

Okay put it in modem mode rather than having it in router mode. Then all devices should be connected to the duma - this is needed for congestion control to work correctly.

 

Check the DNS used by the Netgear, perhaps the R1 is not updating automatically, in that case then input it manually and see if that resolves the issue.

 

If you are using Chrome go to: chrome://net-internals/#dns and click "Clear host cache" then go to: chrome://net-internals/#sockets and click "flush socket pools" and see if this resolves the issue.
