Unlocking Items in the Battlefield 1 Beta

I have played for a while now and wondered why i was not unlocking guns, then i watched this video

cheers Raddy, I just assumed I wasn't getting enough kills/points. Bit gutted though, I spent hours and hours in the same lobby yesterday and didn't ranked up my scout at all
