Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 16, 2016 Administrators Posted August 16, 2016 So you see the WAN IP? You should have internet, is that the case? If not reboot as above. Then try with your PC as I can't do it without it really
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 16, 2016 Administrators Posted August 16, 2016 Make sure that in settings > LAN DHCP is enabled
CesarGMNT Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 It is enabled, rebooted and still can't do anything.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 16, 2016 Administrators Posted August 16, 2016 Do you have internet if you plug directly in to your ISP hub without the R1 connected?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 16, 2016 Administrators Posted August 16, 2016 What ISP are you with? Do you know if you require PPPoE?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 16, 2016 Administrators Posted August 16, 2016 Brb quickly, let me know if you have access.
CesarGMNT Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 It works, but I'm connected via wifi. What do I have to do now on the join me app?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 16, 2016 Administrators Posted August 16, 2016 I've connected, can you allow me access please
CesarGMNT Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 My internet went completely down while in join.me, what can I do??
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 16, 2016 Administrators Posted August 16, 2016 Do you have connection via ethernet on your console still? If so connect PC via ethernet to the router please
CesarGMNT Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 It was via ethernet, everything went down, I had to reboot the router. Are you calling again to join.me?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 16, 2016 Administrators Posted August 16, 2016 I cannot really do any more whilst on it with you. However, it appears you should be able to get a game now. Make sure your console is connecting via automatic network settings. On router settings you changed MTU, we don't want that changed so make sure it's all set to automatic. For WiFi do the following: Change the security mode in settings to PSK2 Get a WiFi analyser on your PC or phone and find the least congested channel, then change to that in WiFi settings You shouldn't be losing wired internet at all. Can you replace the ethernet cable between the R1 and the ISP hub as well as ethernet connecting devices to the R1 to see if that is the issue. If you still encounter that you're losing internet disconnect the R1 completely and directly connect to your ISP hub. Do you experience any disconnects over an hour? When you lose connection on the R1 do you hear the router beep at all? Let me know how you get on with all of that please.
CesarGMNT Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 The wifi stuff is everything set up as you said. And yes, I hear the beep when I reboot it.
CesarGMNT Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 The problem is back, I had to reset it to factory. I'm done, I want to return it.
CesarGMNT Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 Is it possible to change it for a new one? You by yourself set it up and 3 minutes later it was down again and wasn't able to play. I don't think this has something to do with ISP. My cousin has the same connection and I have it set up just like him. It has to be something from the device.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 17, 2016 Administrators Posted August 17, 2016 Please email [email protected] and we'll arrange for a replacement. Include a link to this thread and your order number. Apologies for the inconvenience!
