How to Get Windows 10 Anniversary Update

In this video I will show you how to download the Anniversary Update and install it the correct way. This is the full installation process, step by step. If you run into installation problems I will show you what you can do to recover your data.

Be patient when installing Anniversary Update. There are a number of ways to get and install Windows 10 Anniversary Update 

1. Media Creation Tool. this will allow you to download the latest version of Windows 10 with all the latest updates pre-installed in the build.

2. Windows update, this is another way to update, some people are not yet receiving the update and are told its fully updated. If this is the case you can use another method.

3. Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant

Important: Its advisable to backup your system data before you start this update. You can use Macrium Reflect to create a system image or Clone of your Hard Drive.

You can always recover data from Windows.old folder if you need to. If the computer wont boot after upgrade, try and boot to a Live CD and recover data that way if you don't have a backup of your data.
