jordm87
hi again set up my Netduma earlier and ive played a few fifa games and although im not getting your normal type lag, my games are playing out very strangely. feels like my controller is being affected which sounds odd i know and the game play feels stiff if that makes any sense. any ideas what this might be? Administrators Netduma Iain Posted April 23, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 23, 2015 Ok you see that ping is slightly larger. Before you were getting 25ms, so it could be local congestion. I suggest setting the anti-flood(at host filtering) to 70% each way when you play. Also is your xbox near the router?
jordm87
i have it on 70 on each as i saw somebody put thats the best option for him. yeah my router and modem are right next to my x box. what would you say is the ideal distance away? i saw a post where the router was close to his console and it was interfering with his pad, is that a thing? haha
Administrators Netduma Iain Posted April 23, 2015 Administrators Share Posted April 23, 2015 Yeah check the ping graph in game. If its still low so It could be the wifi interfering with the controller. Try put some space between the two if you can. Or if you're entirely wired disable the wifi on the router
Od1n
something i want to mention sport games like FIFA and beat-em-ups all do share the same P2P system the one with the weaker internet is the host for lag fairness maybe you just happened to run into a few bad hosts?
