PharmDawgg
I would go in this order fiber>dsl>cable. I only have and can get cable (Comcast). My suggestion is based on the thoughts shared on this forum. Goodluck on your decision.

PharmDawgg
Uverse isn't 100% fiber, but it is a huge upgrade in dsl technology. I would pick uverse over cable for gaming purposes. Now if I had to pick based on bandwidth only and streaming purposes or transferring large files then I would go with cable. Where gaming and cable conflicts is there will be more jitter on your line with cable as opposed to uverse. And jitter is bad when it comes to online gaming. Thank your very much for your information my friend, it really helps me a lot to get a desicion, so uverse at least is 50% fiber right?
PharmDawgg
I would probably say atleast. I am not 100%. AT&T should be able to tell you exactly.
fuzzy clam
Both are a huge upgrades from cable,I went with AT&T DSL but as said above I would find out exactly what is what on the fiber situation.I had cable and the switch to DSL has made a huge difference in the stability of my line in general but especially while gaming.
