Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 21, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 21, 2016 Hey, welcome to the forum! I haven't heard of the game but from a quick look it appears to be on PC. You can choose your PC on Host filtering and select Xbox Live as the service. However, I imagine it has the option to select a region or a server so you wouldn't need the Geo-filter. Rendezvous
I have followed your suggestion but still it does not give effect to ping in the games I play. I was very frustrated supposed to do now. I 've tried many times and still fail. The first time I think this is because the modem is the first time I received problematic until finally I get a new replacement and since the replacement modem netduma came yesterday I 've tried until now but there is no change at all. I appeal to you to take a moment to test the game that I play is GodsWar online to give me the right settings . you can try register and downloading the game via the website gw.igg.com and after completion then you can install it to your hard drive and select the server usa(GMT-5) . if you have tried and succeeded in finding the right setting for overcoming the lag me please reply to this post soon . thanks
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 27, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 27, 2016 That is the issue there, you can connect to servers manually. I would hazard to guess you are not located in the USA, hence why connecting to that server will cause lag. If possible connect to a more local server. Then ensure ALL devices are connected to the duma. 70/70 anti-flood, PC in hyper traffic. That will ensure no one in your home can cause you lag whilst playing. Rendezvous
I think your answer does not answer my question!!! I did stay very far away from the server usa . and suppose the game has a local server so I do not need this tool to help me get a low ping. just for information , I 've tried various ways to get the best results and the results did not change in the slightest ping in the game that I play . so if this was indeed the tool can not help it that I want is my money back !!! because I do not want to buy an item for $ 199 just for me throw into the trash because it is not useful at all !!! because before I bought this tool I see so many promotions that say that with this tool can fix ping , no matter the extent to which we live and host games are. so now I charge the promise to all of you because I have to buy this stuff and it did not work at all !!! I think your answer does not answer my question .
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 29, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 29, 2016 You are using it on a game that you are able to pick the servers of. Therefore there is no need to use the Geo-filter. If there are no closer servers that you can select then that is the games issue. We cannot help you get closer servers on a game that purely runs off of servers that have none near your location. You can use congestion control whilst playing that game. That will ensure that local congestion caused by devices in your home will not impact you. However, a ping to a far away server that is high is due to distance as I said in my first paragraph it doesn't seem possible with your game to get a closer server. It also states on our website in the FAQ section what games the Geo-filter is compatible with.
