Jeremy Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 You can view my speeds down below. I VERY consistently get 25-35 Mb/s download with my Netduma, even if no one else is on, while I very consistently get 100+ Mb/s without it. This is on a 150/10 connection. No matter what settings I do, no matter how many devices are currently using it, no matter what... I get horrible, horrible speeds. Is this just due to the hardware itself or is there some magical setting I'm missing? Extreeeeemely frustrating. http://imgur.com/a/g6Fek
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 4, 2016 Administrators Posted April 4, 2016 Put in 150/10 into your bandwidth settings and allow it to auto apply - if you're on the 1.03.6 version otherwise follow this guide for speeds http://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=why_is_my_speed_lower
FormulaKiller08 Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 I am having the same problem, although not as bad. Mine are consistently lower speeds, but more around the 50 Mbps range, and I will get 100+ not connected to the Netduma. I have had some recommendations posted in my thread, but no luck so far.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 4, 2016 Administrators Posted April 4, 2016 Have you tried the above suggestions as well? Ensure that all cables connecting your devices to the duma are capable of 100mbps+ speeds. Cat5e or above ethernet cables preferably.
Jeremy Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 Just pulled a 108 Mb/s, but my girlfriend (wifi) is only getting 45 Mb/s still. Any ideas on Wifi? She's on a 2009 iMac.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 5, 2016 Administrators Posted April 5, 2016 Wifi speeds won't be as high. The max I've achieved has been about 80mbps. Here are some things you can try to improve it: Switch off wireless on your ISP hub. Use a wifi analyser to find the least congested channel and change to that in wifi settings.
