gkontos10
Good morning my friends I called my provider to complain about terrible ping.. And i asked for settings called fast past that are for gamers.. But they told me because it's cable Internet they can't do that... And they only think they can do it's port forwarding... Does this worth to do it? I will see any difference? And last, if it's worth what ports to forward?? Am playing COD and BF On PS4
Sgt-Greco
Hey bro. Forget port forwarding. UPnP is there for you. If your provider sucks, your provider sucks. Period.
Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted March 14, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted March 14, 2015 I don't think port forwarding would change anything to do with ping. What are the pings that you are getting in the games?
Guest Netduma_Iain
Port forwarding will not make a difference to ping I'm afraid. That will only help with opening your NAT which UPnP should do for you automatically. Hers the things Kontos, while you try sort out your ping. I'm sure you're used to much worse ping, so you should see an improvement even though its still high if that makes sense.
Sgt-Greco
i still don't understand why games include booklets with port forwarding instructions.
