I don't think and been told that my router does not have a modem mode or bridge mode. U gave me a second option of using dmz. Please dumb it down with step by step instructions on how I need to do this. Thanks

• Go to device manager on R1
• Copy the WAN IP that it shows
• Click the blue box to take you to your ISP router interface 
• Find DMZ (Perhaps in Firewall settings, though will depend on router model search for your model online if it's not in firewall)
• Enable DMZ and paste copied WAN IP
• Apply
