TheJefe74
I received my R1 yesterday, and got everything set up using the great tutorials on this site. My problem is that I have a computer in my house that I use as a media server for all of the rooms in the house. I use Xbox 360's in Windows Media center to watch the stored movies and such on this server. I use Remote Desktop to connect from my laptop, since the server is "headless". After setting up the R1, I can no longer connect to the server with any of the 360's, or with Remote Desktop. I have restarted the server machine multiple times, and I have verified that it is on the network. Pulling my hair out trying to figure this one out. Please help!! TheJefe74
I think I have found the problem, and it's not anything with the R1, as expected. It seems that Windows sees the new router as an entirely new network, and as such, requires you to re-enable network sharing and remote desktop access.
