Ok so b4 I even had a chance to do that I had that specific router off the entire time for a min & was just using my R3 alone (Im not even sure how many days I've had it off since I had issues with it) but I turnt it back on & it went to the dashboard/network monitor w/o that bs error happening again but IRONICALLY b4 it got fixed (however that happened) it showed me a QoS error I've never seen b4 but immediately after I turnt the router back on after a few days I factory reset (I did it b4 but I still had the same issue after) & was about to reupload the firmware it didn't seem to be giving me the issues it did b4 along with the newest one happening in QoS. So I guess its good now I'm not sure but im happy that the errors isn't popping up on the screen & just remembered to change the 3 to 5 thing just now about to make the switch now.

So downgrade to a previous firmware then upgrade back to current or just upgrade to the current one entirely while I'm still on it?

Thats exactly the problem though I can't unpin it cause its in an infinite load on that page instead of whats supposed to show there for that graph

Also this is happening on my XR1000 & this is the version XR1000 1.0.0.72_1.0.62

Every time I goto dashboard it shows this error & I removed every thing 4rm dashboard 1 at a time to see what it was & this also effect the network monitor page. I believe its the graph under network snapshot (Not the graph right under that one in same category but the one below the 2 up top on that page of network monitor) because its not even loading at all just keeps showing an infinite loading symbol there instead & cause of this I can't even unpin it 4rm my dashboard for the dashboard to work right..

On this area when I try to reserve bandwidth for a device/app theres an option to physically put the # you want there but after clicking save it does jack all & stays the same as it was b4

Yeah I was able to delete it but it didn't fix the problem I was just back to step 1 of it all where it just did it again... I figured I'd bring it to light as a problem that needed to get fixed down the road/wanted to see if there was a way to fix it b4 giving factory reset a shot.

My device (Xbox Series S) isn't showing up on the interface for Geo-Filter when I try to add device it says its already there but I have 0 options available to turn on/off Geo-Filtering for it entirely for some reason & this issue is happening on my laptop along with the mobile app

Is there a way to manually update the R3 because I tried restarting the router & I'm still stuck on .21 & not able to upgrade to .23

So the smart play there would be to like have the QoS set on some type of low bandwidth I guess for this setting to like benefit 4rm it entirely? Since it turns off throttling entirely but turns it on when I either game/web browse?

How does that feature work exactly along with the warning of it "may" cause problems?

Sorry to hear that my guy... BUT I believe the 1K is the best among the ones b4 if I remember right... I don't remember but I went 4rm the R1 to the XR1k to the R3 but I think overall you just gotta try to stay updated with current devices & like do some research b4 impulsively buying on a whim but overall I think the XR1k is still a pretty decent router I didn't have too much complaints about it overall compared to the R1

But if for the same device then not really then on that front?

So by what I just read it CAN reserve however much you want on the application BUT it can always go over the limit on it as well if the application uses more bandwidth thats reserved for it if it needs more bandwidth? Also does it matter about the rank its in at all does that factor in the matter or it just overall doesn't & its fine just cause its there?

I noticed on the mobile app on "Favourites Primary Profile" feature I can click the... idk I guess its wires on the top right of the screen & it'll take me to a bandwidth reservation area I'm mainly just here to find out how EXACTLY it works cause I have 2 set for games I play but still wanna know how the process works per se.

I tried to use the app on it & im having issues entirely logging in as if it doesn't recognize the device at all & I just installed the Duma app on one of my other phones (Hindsight granted its into another router's wifi but said router is hooked into XR & I've nvr had issues using the app like that b4) so its pretty fresh on that front.

See what I found when I searched was mainly just frequency bands it didn't really cover the channel width part but now I just did some research & put 5G on 160mhz (Cause its for wifi 6 & why wouldn't I wanna use that) & am gonna keep the 2.4 on 20mhz cause I guess apparently its the most stable thing to have that connection on.

I tried to look up on what the widths can do/how it works exactly but I pulled up nothing but blanks on the matter so... What exactly is it anyways?

Don't know if it already exists or doesn't but it would be pretty dope if this was in app form that way we can stay updated/update whatever issues & problems into it alot easier finding help for whatever we need instead of always coming to the site as we do now.

Also on a side note how long does it take for a device to be offline in the R3 b4 the device records it as such & you have the option to delete said device?

Even though I'm on 2.4 it seems like its like the 5G type of gig where you can't be too far 4rm router to work/have strong signal & I even split up the bands & overall I think I had better signal on 2.4 on the R1 & XR1k easily compared to this.

& you only need to use ping optimizer like once or like every time you get on to play?
