It does sound like there aren't any servers within your radius, so you will have to try forcing other servers. We don't claim for Heatmap to be 100% pin point accurate, in most cases there is no way to 100% confirm the findings are correct, that's why people turn to us in the first place for an idea of where the servers are. I will let the team know there aren't any servers in that location so they can remove them

I don't have easy access to the information, also in some cases the actual game server IP may not be used to generate that information so wouldn't necessarily be a reliable source.
Yes that's also another method you could use.

theblureffect got a reaction from FLAK in BRING BACK SHARING BANDWIDTH TURN OFF OPTION PLEASE!
@FLAKI understand what you mean here, I've experienced the same more or less. My congestion control is set to 85%down 65%up, I currently pay for and get 20mbps up and down. Whenever I'm gaming and my son watches youtube on his phone, I would start lagging and when I look at smartboost I see that my sons youtube activity is at 18-20mbps. This does not make sense as I would think the congestion control and smartboost would lower such high traffic not prioritized traffic. Currently my xbox is the only device prioritized at x5 and gaming is the only thing prioritized.
@fraserMaybe smartboost should not only ensure that gaming packets are sent first but also limit the bandwidth being used according to congestion control. If thats the purpose of congestion control, then its not doing it to be honest.

theblureffect reacted to Netduma Fraser in Will my R3 still work with isp's router?
That's what I'd suggest yes. Regardless of the ISP router you use you won't be able to force the servers so you'll have a use for the Geo-Filter at the very least but there are more exciting features coming so always worth holding on to!

    Hi Guys,
I was one of the early adopters preordering this router and although I did expect some issues at first till few patch updates came out but it’s been over a year now and still having to endlessly reboot and factory reset router just to get it to function.

    main issues I get is:
•router forgetting settings and things like geo fence suddenly not working and not working again until rebooting or factory resetting and setting it back up.
    • complete freezes where nothing loads at all.
•error saying something along side Duma has not loaded correctly then the try again does nothing
•internet speed drops massively to around 3mbps then if I unplug Ethernet and plug it in other router goes back to full speed so a Duma issue.
•needing daily reboots at least just to function properly.
•every firmware tried has had issues and not just minor ones.
•Duma OS not loading at all sometimes doesn’t fix after reboot then again needs factory reset to work temporarily.
Just a bit fed up as when it has it’s short periods of working it is great but it’s so inconsistent that I can’t recommend it to anyone in its current state as I spend more time resetting the router and going through the settings than I use it issue free.
moved from a XR1000 to this R3 and there has been a few times I’ve went back to the XR as for the most part it is more reliable although both are a mile away from being perfect.
I know you guys are a small team so doing my best staying patient but £200 and still waiting a year later to get a bit of my moneys worth out of it,  just feels like the customer/community at this point are guinea pigs being free testers not only on the beta firmwares but just on the device as a whole.
    any help would be great.

    If that’s what you think..

you truly expect people to know they’re on vacation and expect us to look though every topic..?

we all want a working product with Zero issues.. that’s not happened yet once. It’s ridiculous. We’ve got a right to be pissed off and frustrated..

If you think us being pissed off on something we bought and not work right is gossip, then you’re highly mistaken..

Thank you! I'd be surprised as well, hopefully me going full Karen on them today finally made them do something about it.
