Worst product I've ever purchased in the space to be honest. Insanely laggy and borderline unusable UI at some points. Went to the effort of re-flashing it to help with it's speed as others have suggested but a week later and it is as slow as ever. I don't think my QoS even works and neither does the UPnP. Can't even manually forward ports if i wanted to. If you get it into a working order and don't have to ever log into it again it may be fine HOWEVER my WiFi network started to just die randomly and dupe IP's on devices A LOT. Honestly even just how laggy the UI is is reason enough for me to want to get rid of it as someone who is somewhat of a power user. I can understand Duma has had issues with pushing firmware with Netgear - but this product is a complete dud. DO NOT BUY IT.

Just wanted to reply and say that doing what OP did also made my router UI behave much faster. Just generally more responsive. I was hoping it would make manual port forward work for me - but didn't seem to help.
