  1. IF possible early access request as well, my R3 is collecting dust and using tplink ax23 for now thank you
  2. In order to fix bell advanced dmz, after R3 start or restarts, you just need to disable BELL DMZ , save, and then re-enable again , then it works, yes, its weird but there it is. you do not need to remove device or uncheck ADMZ box during this process. I myself am using PPPOE which doesn't need this superduper advanced "technique" , you will need you bxxxxxxx user name and password which you can reset on bell cs pages if you dont know it , go to mybell, internet serviceb1xxxx profile and change password, you would need to re-enter it in your modem as well afterwards... I had this issue with routers before R3 too....
  3. Thank you, that is what i exactly need to know, is it a bug or as intended but then how are you able to limit MTU for clients ?...
  4. sry, i didnt mean to be rude, its just i think we misunderstand each other what i was trying to do btw, R3 is in advanced DMZ mode via telco fiber modem so it gets public WAN IP, no pppoe, 1500 mtu, basically changing MTU on R3 wan advanced interface doesn't affect any clients connected to R3,
  5. OK, thx, thats what i wanted to know coz it had no effect on connected devices. I assumed changing mtu would affect clients too...
  6. its a dhcp, full dmz via fibre but that really doesnt matter, I am asking why netduma is not limiting MTU to clients if i set it up in advanced WAN settings?
  7. For me it doesnt work, if i set R3 to 1492 and clients are still able to send 1500 or 1472 + headers....
  8. There is. a specific reason why i would need lower MTU on router level For example, if I lower MTU to 1492 on R3 wan advanced inteface, restart etc... Clients still get full 1500 MTU ping -D -s 1472 www.google.com PING www.google.com (142.251.41.68): 1472 data bytes Request timeout for icmp_seq 0 Request timeout for icmp_seq 1 vs ping -D -s 1473 www.google.com PING www.google.com (142.251.41.68): 1473 data bytes ping: sendto: Message too long
  9. I did a factory reset just to make sure , never enabled ping optimizer in setup or smart boost so there is no congestion control which i dont need as PS5 is only device, disabled port scan and flood protection, added ps5 in dmz, still same speeds, that was just after midnight, still same test speeds on PS5 and laptop , and R3 own test speed show 930 mbps up and down, Do you have speed test bypass enabled - I had it enabled and disabled, same . After i went to sleep , suddenly PS5 and laptop is getting between 750 and 880 mbps down and up.... super weird although if i connect to my main modem i get 940 ish, so still something going on.... I dont mind about bandwith that much but I am worried about something still doing some kind of smartqos or congestion control....
  10. Hi there , I am getting half my bandwith on R3 router. Speed test shows arround 400 mbps down and up, Playstation test shows the same . Before on xr1000 or if i switch to other connection i am getting full speeds. R3 speed test shows 930 up and down so that seems fine but for some reaons there is some bandwith throttling happening... My connection is fibre 3GBPS up and down. R3 is conencted via dmz on main router so it has public ip, , I disabled all qos , ping assists etc, rebooted , but nothing helps... Only play station uses r3. Thank you Also , is there a way to stop wan connection, release/renew to get new IP, otherwise I have to always restart
