Never mind. I sorted it out.

Here are the 2 servers. I guess this is for US gamers on Xbox Live. They are in Iowa. I allowed both. Good to go. Server names are ELMO4E & ELMO4F .

Yup. After I checked my NAT on both consoles. I went back to finish setting up R3. Yes I added both my consoles to the GeoFilter. Guess what. Couldn't find NAT or strict. I did what you just said. I removed both Xbox consoles from GeoFilter (I also wasn't using GeoFencing). Back to open NAT. Yup, that's a bug.

I finally decided to factory reset R3 running on 219 firmware. That did the trick. UPnP enabled. That's it. No DMZ or port forwarding. Thanks to all who made suggestions here.

The Netgear Nighthawk CM1200 is only a cable modem. It is not a router. Their are no options on it for bridge mode or dmz. All of that will have to be done on R3. Which so far, isn't working for me. Including steps of port forwarding.

So what can I do to get open NAT on Xbox Live? That is necessary for party chat. I have a Netgear Nighthawk CM1200 cable modem. My internet provider is Spectrum. I'm in early access. So this latest patch released to everyone does nothing for my upnp. My NAT is either moderate or strict. I can't put my modem in bridge mode because it's not a router. Just a modem. So what can I do? I got 2 Xbox consoles. I can't port forward same port to 2 different IP Addy. Why was this designed this way? Routers in the past. I port forward whatever numbers. It covers the router. Not the R3. This is frustrating. I'm tempted to go back to my Netgear X1000. This is ridiculous. 7 months or so later. Still having issues after launch.

I'll say this. 5 years ago. I bought Mediabridge CAT 6 cables. They come in various lengths. Good prices. Up to 10 gbps speeds. Zero issues with my R3. I have 4 of there cables going to R3. One from modem. Then my LG OLED, Xbox Series X and Xbox 360. Look on Amazon for them. If not the best. One of the best ethernet cables you can buy. I did research on them 5 yrs ago before I bought them. They come in different colors to.

I'm very pleased with my R3. Works pretty well. The one thing I got to do is restart it once in a while. Why? It will assign a different address to devices. What am I talking about? You know how normally it's 192.168.77.whatever. Every now and then it would give a device 192.168.09.whatever. Which is not normal. I would restart device. All is good. GeoFilter works good for me. I connect to servers I want. The wifi on mine is interesting. The 5ghz has longer ranger then 2.4ghz. Weird right? Should be the opposite. I've never had issues with Lan ports dropping (my Xbox Series X and TV use Lan in my gaming room). Everything else is wifi (including Xbox Series S and other TV). No issues with devices dropping. I'm looking forward to the next update to further smooth things out.

I agree. Beige able to set it to 5 ms as a starting point would be fantastic. Instead of 10 ms.

You can buy a TV with bugs in the firmware. Even vehicles can have bugs in the firmware. Guess what. They get fixed with updated firmware. Now those cost more than a R3 router.

I should have said this. When it ships. I was concerned about that too. Happened to me. It's coming.

It's not a scam. Relax. People so impatient. No different than buying a game with bugs. It will get sorted out. Firmware is coming to address things.
