GavinA895 got a reaction from demon in What's has a "fix" on the "NEW" firmware ?
New firmware now scheduled to release 2025... all bugs still present...In 2025 ..Netduma R5 launches with the exact same issues and has no schedule for its bugs to also be fixed.

That's unfortunate, guess I may as well go out and get another router. Can't even use the 30 day refund policy anymore from holding out with hope on the company... my mistake.

Everyday we're getting closer, we're not going to rush it though, the more stable it is the happier people will be

GavinA895 got a reaction from Aspect of Wrath in Possible "DumaOS Loading" fix
Same firmware, multiple times. On 4.0.41.
Every time I was unable to access DumaOS I uploaded the same firmware and then factory reset, eventually ended up with one that doesn't require a reboot daily. Day 6 almost now.
If it doesn't let you reflash the same one, downgrade and then upgrade before the factory reset. Seems to keep all settings on a downgrade.

GavinA895 reacted to Netduma Fraser in ETA on new firmware with actual fixes
That may be how you feel and I appreciate that, you know that development is fluid and can take longer than expected. Not everyone feels that way though. I think there will be an update out this month, I'd be very surprised if there wasn't.

GavinA895 got a reaction from Psyco-Mengo in ETA on new firmware with actual fixes
Awaiting some ETA on a firmware with some actual bug fixes and improvements. Have tried to follow countless troubleshooting steps mentioned by Fraser and the forums with no luck (Thanks for the suggestions btw) and now growing frustrated and losing hope.

GavinA895 got a reaction from Disrek in Netduma R3 Feedback - Good Things :) | Issues >.< | Things I Miss :(
Feedback: Someone posted in a different thread about a possible WiFi fix using the XR1000 antenna's with adapters and I can confirm after trying the same that the WiFi coverage is MUCH improved, when keeping all other variables the same.

Hi,
Just received my R3 earlier today. Has since been updated to the .23 firmware. Just for context I am coming from a XR1000 running DumaOS 3.2.
Good Things:
-Web UI seems to be much faster than the XR1000
-Glad to get updates MUCH quicker
-Don't really mind the UI
Issues/Bugs noticed:
-Considerably weaker wifi signal on 2.4GHz compared to the XR1000, followed suggestions made by Fraser in a different post, no luck.
-Geo filter showing Apex Legends Servers incorrectly. Logging into the Singapore 1(in-game) shows up as Colorado on Geo-filter.
-Guest Wifi connected devices show up under "LAN" rather than Wifi. Ideally a separate branch similar to how it was on XR1000 (DumaOS 3.2)
Things I'm missing from the XR1000 (DumaOS 3.2)
-Geo Filter: Ping Limiter ?
-Device Manager: Import/Export Device Names (Would really love this back as its much easier to edit a text file and just drop it back onto the router)
-Maybe I'm picky but could we have the "Pin" functionality in the future to declutter the "Dashboard" page. I would really like to have the "Device Manager" tab on the home screen to see connected devices
-Device Manager: "Full" page list view as was in 3.2
Thanks

Gotcha, like the old table view, I'll add it to the list, thanks!

GavinA895 got a reaction from Mr_Meeseeks in WiFi strength
+1 to this. Just received my R3 today, updated and running .23 and made the changes mentioned above.... considerably weaker wifi signal. Compared to a XR1000 which was my older router
