I'm currently waiting for my R3 to arrive, hopefully after the Christmas period. I've been doing reading online about VPNs that allow you to connect by changing the DNS server, allowing potential "easy" lobbies for MW3 and Warzone. Are these legit to some degree and if so, can they be set up on via DumaOS to only affect certain devices, example being PS5?

@Netduma Fraser Would you recommend the NetDuma R3 over any other router? I seem to have nothing but issues with the Netgear Nighthawk router, so I'm returning it to Amazon now. I'll probably buy the R3 as a replacement.

Mainly east coast, New York. I set the radius to about 600miles and before I was able to find games no problem, not sure if it's a warzone thing or a multiplayer thing.

Yeah, I'm the party leader and I also have my friend added on the allow list, for when I do search outside of the EU, to ensure he can connect to me. It's strange how it only seems to happen when I switch over to the USA, it just refuses to find a game for Warzone. Even tried watching 20 minutes but it seems to bug out. I'll keep doing some tests, if it's working in EU it must be something I'm doing while moving to NA

I tried this a few times last night and today, it still won't sync when I set the filter to the USA. My ping still searches at the 31MS range as opposed to the 90MS range it used to. The search radius will go from <33MS straight to <99MS, which to me seems like it's trying to do something but then after a while it will either restart the search again or put me into an EU lobby where my ping is it's normal value. I don't even know if using the geo-filter in the EU is working, as I wouldn't be able to tell.

I'm pretty sure I don't have ping assist on my version or router. I've never seen the option too adjust ping assist, I just use the profile for Call of duty and adjust my search radius accordingly. I never experienced an issue before.

Currently experiencing this myself. X1000v2, I've tried rebooting the router with it all options turned off, then turning on geofilter, booting up MW3 on PS5 and seaching for a game but it just searching for games in my ping radius (29MS) even though I've got it set in the USA. I've tried re-adding my PS5 onto the list, restarting the PS5 ect but to no avail.

So in basic terms, I should set my QoS settings to 60 Download speed, 10 Upload speed and see how it goes and adjust it from there? I have a 500 Down and 50 Up internet.

Can you explain the 60 down, 10 up stuff to me please? I picked up a XR1000v2 today and have been messing around with it all day. I'm starting to understand how it works just unsure what you guys are talking about lol

Thank you very much for your replies and help. Out of curiosity, you wouldn't know what would be the issue causing DumaOS to be throwing up errors like that in chrome would you? Not a very big fan of Edge but I guess if it's just for router stuff it's not so bad. I get this error when trying to follow the QoS settings you guys have pinned

I've read that the QoS can cause issues for most people, so I have it disabled. Also can cause slight latency or missed bullet connecting in gamed like Call of duty, is this true? The features of the software are so cool and I'd like to try utilise as much as possible without jeopardising my gaming experience.

I've managed to fix the speeds for now. Apparently from some research it could potentially be something to do with Virgin Media Hub 4 capping the port while in Modem mode. I'm just trying to learn the software now, how the geo filtering works and if I'm supposed to still be having around 100 ping when connecting to say America when I'm based in the UK.

Update - Seems like it's a google chrome issue, as opening it up in Edge works fine. Can anyone give me an insight onto why my speeds are capped at 100Mbps down, when I have a 500 package with virgin?

Just got my new router set up. For context I have it my Virgin Hub 4 is in modem mode, connected to the router. Once I had it all set up, it prompted me for a version update, which I did and since then I'm constantly getting an error "duma-legend chart elem does not have chart property" I'm unable to access any of the fuctions as nothing populates.
