Just a quick update, tried also to mess around with geo-location. Combined with ping assist as well. It works like a charm, as long as it does the ''initial check'' as i previously said in my other comment. Worst case scenario, reboot the game. Im just making this comment for people who cant get it done from first try. All it takes is to see all servers in the worlds. Until they 'disappear from the map ,dont press start match. It works in mw2 and mw3 as well

That's how i handle it. Usually im the party host, just wanted to check what is happening when i'm not. Can i ask what will happen when mw3 will be released? Should we make something on dumaos?

OK i can now confirm the followings: Ping assist works very well, even in countries where no servers located (Greece). Set it at 50ms and never played above 50 ever again. When booting up game and press search for a match, sometimes the search starts from 150ms ,for unknown reason, and puts me in US servers eventually. So when things arent working as they should , the workaround (at least in my case ) is this: Open up DumaOs on laptop or phone,doesnt matter, reboot game. and wait to see on geo filter map all the servers in the world. Wait until they fade out and then press search match. It seems this is working something like general check. So let netduma do the check and then you good to go. It's like 10 seconds so nothing to worry about. As i said, most of the times it works immediately, but when it doesnt, just let netduma do the ''initial check''. That's for the ping assist. Didnt make any tests on changing location or using polygon mode cause it doesnt apply to my ''needs'' , so i dont really care. But i'm pretty sure that will work accordingly. Also, at least at my end, all geo filter adjustments are applied even when im not hosting the party. Thus, when i set ping assist at 50 ms and join my friend's party (who cant have 50ms ping or below cause of bad isp) game wont find us a match.

It seems that is working after a couple of game reboots. Everything is working ,then I fully shut down console. When opening it up again it's random. Sometimes it works on first attempt, sometime it works on second on third game reboot. The good thing is that I dont have to delete device ,re sync cloud etc. I'll continue monitoring it and let you know. I have another question regarding parties. When I'm hosting the party I have the absolute control,as I should. The thing is when one of my friends is hosting the party and I'm joining him ,it seems that my geo filter still applies .It tries to connect us but it wont due to my restrictions. Is that something normal ? Shouldnt geo filter only apply when I'm hosting ?

He also said "in greece you wont find lobbies below 50ms ". And then he swallowed his tongue. @Fuzy maybe you should move in Greece cause it seems we can have lobbies below 50ms. He didnt understand a thing of what I was saying and when he did he was being ironic. So maybe he must keep it respectful to customers. I'm not an idiot and for sure he's not an expert or something. When I quit playing for the day ,I close chrome (which I have the Duma os) and leave my console open until it closes it self. Yes it's on standby mode. I wont do anything in Duma os. Nothing at all. I just close chrome. Next day everything is like I've left it in duma os but in game it wont work.

Ok let me talk to someone who understands English, although isnt my native language. A while ago you were saying I wont find matches below 50 in greece. Now i think the cat ate your tongue. I'm saying that to achieve that i have to reset every day the netduma and you're saying that netduma bypass my "faulty " xbox... For real dude,change job. This isn't for you. This is what im doing with ping assist. Standard matches below 50ms. As i want it exactly.. The thing is when i turn off the game and come back lets say next day to play again, i dont get what i was getting last night. Not below 50ms lobbies anymore. I have to reset netduma and do all the job again from scratch in order to get it done again. Forget ping assist. I use polygon mode to play in saudi arabia. It works like a charm. When i restart the game stops working. I set location in freaking mars and want to play with aliens. It works. If i restart the game stops working. Its like reseting everything and comes back to ''factory mode''. ''Factory mode'' is thinking im in the us for some reason, but i really dont want to discuss it now cause it already took me several days to describe my main issue. Your response is '' no way you can play below 50ms in greece". '' dont use ping assist''. A freaking feature which got me buy netduma on the first place. And im here trying to make you understand that whatever i do is working until i close the game. Then it doesnt anymore.

This isnt a debate about me using the ping assist or not. Ping assist is working for me just fine. i play 100 matches? all of them are below 50. i dont really care if im connecting to servers or peers. I dont care if its better or not for cod.. It works and i want it that way. If i make the mistake to close the game then the ping assist isnt working any more. I have to reset eveything and set it up again. If i play 24 hours straight then 1000 matches will be below 50ms. As i set it up on ping assist. Why is this happening?

Forget about me. Really. Im asking one simple question and all i get is something else.. Why everytime i restart the game my netduma filters are gone? And i have to make numerous resets again?

There arent 50ms ping servers within my radius? So there are peers maybe? Cause when ping assist actually works i have matches from 42-47ms... All the time. My xbox ping without netduma is around 60ms. When i connect netduma is around 200ms. If the case is that you wont believe me or you think im mistaken then i few screenshots maybe will convince you. When ping assist works.

This is what im getting with radius. Two peers (maybe servers, i dont know). In the ping heat map shows a couple of servers in Italy but never show up in my map, The only thing i get every time is thise two peers. One of them has 57 ms ping. Which is why i wanted to use ping assist in the first place. I know i can allow/deny servers but then what point ping assist has? Ping assist works just fine as long as i wont close the game. That;s my issue.

As I said ping assist is my main goal. If I do what you suggest then there is no reason for me to own a netduma cause servers in europe match me from 43 to 70. So when ping assist actually works then I have lobbies only under 50. But let's forget that. As I said the same thing is happening when using radius. Xbox test shows 200 ping and my matchmaking starts from 154. So you havent answered my real question. Why every time I set everything correctly and make a simple restart to game ,everything does not work anymore ? That happens since day 1.

ok this is what happening.. i checked if console's ip matches netduma. All good. Once again my ping is 250ms when tested on xbox but you said to ignore it. As i did...Once again done all the steps and waited 2 minutes until open game. Search match began at 175ms ping and eventually it found a match and i had 180ms ping. Once again reset everything and did all the steps again. Run a test on xbox and my ping was at 67 which it was a sign everything is good. Played a few matches and everything was working just fine. I closed the game for like 10 minutes and came back to continue playing. Once again matchmaking started from 154ms and eventually once again it found a match in us. So it seems that when the xbox test shows ping from us(very very high) then netduma is behaving like im in us ignoring all my filters. When my xbox test shows normal ping then i know everything is allright. Also, i was party leader and after netduma raised my blood pressure i decided to dismantle party and join another friend. Now he couldnt find match either. Went up to 200ms and started from start again and again. It;s like im affecting my friend;s party too. The photo is when my xbox party shows above 200ms ping. When i know that im gonna connect to US. The same is happening when im using radius instead of ping assist. After all, i dont want to use radius. Im in europe we have limited servers for cod. So the whole idea when buying netduma is to play at servers below 50. I dont care where they are France or Uk

Ok this is getting out of hand. Suddenly my nat type is strict. I copied the wan ip to isp router dmz. Nothing changed. When I do a test in console my ping is 250ms. It should be around 50. It's like I've changed the location to us.( I'm in Europe). No matter what I do,when I connect netduma in my console,my xbox ping shows 250ms. In game no filter works. I'm getting ping from a us server which cant connect due to ping assist. If I close ping assist then I only connect to us servers with 150 ping. Reset netduma twice to ensure my location. Nothing changed. Any ideas ?

It really is unbelievable what I'm going through using it on xbox series s. Double nat strict even though I have the wan ip of r2 in the isp dmz. Restart everything and have an open nat just for a while. When I open the game again double nat. Once I try a minor change in settings, my ping in xbox showing like im in us (im in europe) and connects me there. No matter what I do it keeps giving me 200ms ping Minor change is simply using the polygon mode instead of circle. Inside Europe.

How can force servers in Europe help you get better lobbies?

Nothing appeared on the map when friends joining my party. Tested it like 20 times

From what I'm reading in the guide there's no need to whitelist my friends cause they live right next to me.Apart from that, when I join my friends party where can I see that connection so I can whitelist him. Is there something on Duma os which shows that specific connection between my friend and me ? Also,if my settings are based purely on ping (location Atlantic ocean) , and set it at 50ms,when I join my friend's party(who cant have 50ms ping ,it's too low for him) will be able to find a game? Cause I thought netduma settings are applying only when I'm the party leader.

Thanks for the reply, What is happening with parties? I'm playing usually with 45ms ping. My friend has like 75ms. He will join my lobbies no matter what ? If I'm using netduma and he is the party leader,will my setting apply?

Ok it seems everything started to make sense after your comments. Apparently, I wasnt getting the concept behind the geo filter. So far my everything is looking good. Just a couple of questions more. How do I know in which server/peer I'm actually connected to? Also ,is there any guide on icons meaning ? I mean I can see the "blocked player "icon inside my geo filter radius but what exactly that means ? Havent blocked anyone. Havent done anything either deny or allow. Thanks
