  1. @bbursley, that doesn’t make sense & I’m assuming you didn’t read my initial post. So explain me to when I did have my ASUS connected, I was getting speeds above 900? The issue (which got resolved) was when I tested my R3 over WiFi, I was only getting 1/5 of my speeds whether it was wired or over WiFi. When I enabled/re-enabled IPv6 & after rebooting was thi able to solve the issue of slow WiFi speeds
  2. Sorry for the lateness in this response, I went back to my ASUS GT AXE-11000 router for the past week but after playing my Xbox online with xDefiant & Call of Duty the pings & connection were pretty shoddy. I received an email stating there was a new firmware so decided to try out my R3 again. The WiFi speeds were still indeed around 200 Mbps but after disabling IPv6 the speeds increased up to between 800-900. I then re-enabled IPv6 and viola, WiFi speeds were still above 800. I’m not entirely sure if the firmware update was the solution or if disabling / re-enabling was the solution but everything is working as intended. I was using PPPoE to answer your previous inquiry by the way. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my issue and thanks to Netduma for this awesome gaming router TLDR; downloaded new firmware, enabled IPv6, rebooted, disabled IPv6, rebooted, re-enabled IPv6 h now everything is working as intended
  3. I turned on Speed Test Bypass, I did have the Congestion Control Mode set to Always On but also did try setting it to Auto, unplugged my modem for 2 minutes then plugged it back in, did the same with the R3 but the speeds are the same on my iPad, my iPhone, work computer, & my personal laptop using the different speed test services. Speeds on all of these devices are still between 150-200 mbps. The only device showing download above 900 mbps is my Xbox Series X which is hardwired. Is there anything else I can do to improve the WiFi speeds or do I just need to wait for a firmware update?
  4. Hello all, to start off with some information with my equipment I have a Arris Surfboard S33 modem, the R3 router, the xFinity internet plan with 1.2 gbps down 50 mbps up, & I live alone so it’s just me that has access to the internet. I just downloaded & installed the latest firmware (4.0.214) but my speeds are showing up differently on the Ookla speed test app compared to the router’s speeds. I took these tests within seconds of each other & did the test five times just to make sure there wasn’t a discrepancy with the results. I also used google’s testing along with xFinity’s with the results being around the same 200 mark. Why would the router’s speeds be 5x faster than everyone else’s results?
  5. I too would love to be added to this list, anything to improve this router’s firmware
