DroneMan got a reaction from crunkjuice1 in NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
It's a bit pathetic that I have to disable QOS on this latest firmware otherwise random domains just start timing out. I'm not the only one to report this issue either. Have you given up on this router then now? I was going to buy the new Duma router but what is the point. It's probably likely to have unacceptable bugs that never get fixed if this router is anything to go by

DroneMan reacted to skschatzman in R3 connecting to higher ping servers vs XR500
Isn't steady ping tied to the geo-filter?
When I disable geo-filter, I still have higher ping.
Is there a way to disable steady ping so I can test it?

Got it working , had to make sure all WiFi devices were off and had to wait a while

If it's a QoS issue resetting won't help, reboot the router, close the interface, wait 4 minutes then access and it should load. I'll pass it on to the team.
